Great Shoes!
crocs Cayman Sandal
I bought these crocs for my two year old granddaughter - she absolutely loves them! She is able to put them on herself and loves the shoe snap on decorations I also bought for the crocs. We spend alot of time at the lake; these shoes are perfect for going in and out of the water. They are easily cleaned with soapy water too.
Great shoes for a little one!!

Comfort AND style? From Crocs? Really? Yes!
I have been on the lookout for comfortable yet stylish traveling shoes for a couple of years now. I have tried an endless number of variations on the traditional ballet flat but those tend to either have no arch support (but be comfortable otherwise) or have comfortable soles but leather that rubs against the heel or toe creating blisters. I have tried every moleskin blister pad and arch insert on the market and nothing has helped. With my honeymoon coming up I was getting desperate.
Everything changed with a walk through the Macy's shoe department a couple of weeks ago... I noticed the wall-o-crocs and almost passed it by - before a vacation 1 1/2 years ago I tried my first pair of 'stylish' crocs a modified Mary Jane style and the plastic strap attachment rubbed a huge patch of skin off of my foot the very first time I wore them. I figured I would look at the new styles anyway and was amazed to see the Olivia sling back which clearly had no plastic attachments inside to rub the foot. I immediately logged onto amazon mobile from my iphone discovered they were cheaper than in the store and ordered two pair one in black and one in gold.
I exchanged the gold ones for a pair of brown Malindi crocs (I recommend checking those out too - they are even cuter!) since the lighter color looked a little bulky on my foot but I have worn the black pretty much every day since. All of my friends are amazed when they get close enough to see that these are crocs - as long as you keep them clean they can easily pass for a nice pair of black flats. I am in love!

I wasn't a believer until I tried them!!!
I was extremely happy with the crocs. I did order a mens 11 when I normally wear mens
10.5. They were so good I bought a pair for my entire family..

Review
Purchased these for international travel. Ideal for long periods of time sitting when feet tend to swell. Not great for those needing arch support when walking. Used them as alternatives to slippers and even as cute shoes for an outfit. Not as clunky as regular crocs but not as airy. In hot weather these can get a little 'slippery' inside.

Loved them!
I love crocs in general for my boys. Easy to get on and off and they clean up easily.

Go up a size for these.
In Crocs with the exception of the Mammoth syle which I take an 8 I have always comfortably fit a size 7. I live in Crocs year round due to the comfort and support so I'm not unfamiliar with the brand. Since I comfortably wear a women's 7 in the Cayman style I ordered a women's 7 in the Crocband. It appears to be the same shoe style with the addition of the band so it should fit right? A size 7 should be a 7 should be a 7 across the board in the clog style Crocs at least one would think and easily assume. I was wrong.
I received my Crocband women's size 7 today and they are too small! My toe bumps and there is no room whatsoever behind my heal. When measuring the bottom of the shoe against a newish pair of Cayman style that haven't been broken in yet they are absolutely shorter in length by a full 1/4". While I understand these are made in China which often leads to lesser quality control how hard it is to get the Crocs molds to be the same size for the various clog styles? C'mon Crocs a lot of people depend on these shoes for comfort and can't always afford double shipping to get the size right because your manufacturing is inconsistent in the sizing!

Crocs in the Sand
I love my Crocs! I bought them so that my feet could breath after wearing combat boots for 13 hours a day in the 110 degree weather and I surely love them to death. The only downfall is that they allow the sand and rocks in get into them at times and it feels slightly uncomfortable. Other than that they're really light and very comfortable on your feet after a long day's work.

What a CrOc!?
At first I didn't know what to make of this shoe/sandal... it's lightweight comfortable and "convertible" which is a nice feature that I've never seen in a sandal before. First I'll break down the benefits then give the low-points.
"LIGHTWEIGHT & COMFORTABLE"
This is probably the most attractive feature of the CROC because it adds to the comfort and makes you feel like you're walking on air. By far the most comfortable things I've ever worn and I'm a picky shoe person. I have only owned 1 pair of sandals for the past 6 years and have hated every other sandal I've tried on so these CROCS are definitely special.
"CONVERTIBLE"
You can turn the "sandal" into a "shoe" simply by pushing forward the strap. In "shoe" mode it's a tighter more snug fit so you don't have to worry about it coming off your feet. In "sandal" mode it's easy to slip on and off (although it has a tendency to cling to the bottom of your feet) for that quick trip outside to take out the trash or pick up your cell phone that you left in the car.
PROBLEM: "SWEATY FEET"
One problem I have with the CROC is that it doesn't ventilate very well. Sure it's got holes. But the material is such that it traps heat so you're feet end up sweating in warm weather.
PROBLEM: "HOLES ALLOW DEBRIS IN"
Another problem is that the holes allow all sorts of debris into the sandal while you're walking such as loose rocks wood chips at the playground sand and dirt (when you're not at the beach) and rain water (puddles in the parking lot). This means that you're feet get dirty rather quickly and can be uncomfortable at places where there is a lot of debris - eg playgrounds.
"SIZE & PRICE"
Sizing is a bit weird. I'd recommend going to a store first to try it on and see what size you are. It's hard to find a good selection at a store so it's best just to dip in for sizing and then purchase the one you want on Amazon. Turned out to be the best thing for me as I was able to score Army Green Caymans from Amazon while searching at numerous stores I've only been able to find blue and black Caymans in sizes way too big. For $29.99 I think it's a bit pricey actually but if you're picky about sandals like me there's nothing you can do about it.
"STYLE"
One other thing you'll have to get used to is how aesthetically disgusting it is. Let's be frank: it's a damn ugly shoe and there's no way getting around it. It's not the prettiest thing to wear but it's hands-down the most comfortable. Just be careful where you tread. Definitely not an all-terrain/purpose sandal. Good for beach and casual sidewalk/short trip walking.
"DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BEACH AND CAYMAN STYLES"
None. Except that the sizes for Beach version are "ranges" and are more roomy for your feet. Cayman sizes are exact and are more narrow. Try on before you buy as the versions are not the same.
